Here are some tips on how to care for the board to keep it fresh for years to come.

- wash and season before first use
- wash with lukewarm water and mild soap
- pat dry with soft cotton towel immediately
- store it upright until completely dry to avoid wood warping
- season with coconut oil using soft cloth once a month
- clean heavy stains with a salt and water mix

- don't put into a dishwasher
- don't leave soaked in water
- don't season with food oil (except coconut) to avoid rancid smell and taste
- don't put hot food on the board
- don't leave under direct sunlight for extended periods of time
- don't use bleach for cleaning
