We then add a taste tempting assortment of fresh, clean naturally nutritious enzyme rich Grass Seeds, Oil Seeds, Whole Grain plus Papaya, Pineapple, Carrots, Sweet Potato, Sweet Garden Peas and Spinach.Unlike many companies, we choose to package all of our products in Oxygen filled packaging to ensure enzyme rich seeds and grain to optimize the nutritional value. We do not Nitrogen flush or Vacuum pack our products which evacuates the oxygen to increase shelf life. Whole Seeds & Grain should always be stored in an oxygen filled environment to maintain their live enzyme activity and viability. Enzymes are CRUCIAL in aiding the digestion and assimilation of most nutrients. Taking away the oxygen will kill the live enzymes and reduce the nutritional value. Storage Instructions: We highly recommend both buying smaller amounts more often and storing the food in the refrigerator, or, if you prefer buying larger quantities in bulk use the following storage procedure: 1. Place the food in freezer safe plastic bags or containers and freeze (helpful hint; break the food down to weekly quantities). 2. Remove the container from the freezer and put it in the refrigerator. Feed daily from the refrigerator. 3. Remove left over and spilled food often from feed bowls and cages. Avoid taking the food out of the freezer directly to room temperature. This wide temperature variation will create condensation and add unnecessary moisture to the food.
