This unique gadget also features a built-in thread cutter, an alignment window to easily position the needle for threading, and a switch to select different needle eye sizes. As a bonus, the Singer Needle Threader Assistant has a built-in storage compartment to keep needles organized as well as a magnetic base to pick up loose needles. Instructions Step 1: Position eye size selector to small or large Step 2: Insert needle into guide hole with eye facing window so it touches end. Step 3: Gently push down on lever, if alignment indicator shows red or you feel resistance STOP. This means needle eye is not properly aligned to allow thread guide pin to pass through. Repeat steps one and two and test again. Tip: With lever pressed in, thread guide pin should pass through window if alignment is correct. Step 4: Release the lever and place a length of thread into the V groove. Step 5: Gently push the lever again to guide the thread through the needle. Step 6: Release the lever and withdraw threaded needle. Gently pull the thread loop to complete process. Tip: Use built-in thread cutter for trimming excess thread
