Hi! I'm Heather the Hygienist and I'd like to share with you why I created SSM. I've been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and have seen so many patients deal with chronic gingivitis and periodontal disease. When patients would ask me what mouthwash I recommend, I was never able to suggest any of the commercial products on the market because of the harsh ingredients. SSM is completely natural, therefore it is NORMAL for the color to be a browninh/red as there is quite a variation of color in the 100 percent raw Croton Lechleri sap. It also has no emulsifiers, stabilizers or anything chemical in it whatsoever. As with any natural product, this will not taste like your typical commercial mouthwash and if you need to dilute it at first, feel free to do so. Also, you should not place your mouth on the bottle as it can contaminate the silver, please use the cap provided or a medicine cup if preferred.
