ABOUT SILK ROAD TEAS Silk Road Teas is known as a purveyor of rare and artisan teas. Each spring, we travel in the tea-rich southeastern provinces of China to source our teas. Visiting tea markets, small farms, specialty tea companies and tea brokers, we find the finest varieties of white, green, oolong, black and Pu-erh tea. GENMAICHA - Fresh organic Sencha green tea and roasted rice create a golden infusion with a savory aroma and nutty flavors. Our Genmaicha is produced in Japan. The leaves are larger (we milled them minimally) in order to preserve the leaves' natural flavors and bring a richer, deeper flavor to the cup.
