Door Latch Assembly 4027EL1001A connects with the door strike to hold the dryer door closed.  [A Very Easy Repair]: Remember anytime you work on an appliance make sure it's unplugged or the circuits breakers are off so there's no chance of electrocution. Open up the dryer door ,you will see the door latch.Please use the phillips scresdriver to remove the two screws that hold it.In once you have the screws removed you can pull the latch out of the dryer . Put the new door latch in we're gonna line it up and use our phillips screwdriver to put the screws in. Once you have the part installed you can close the dryer door,plug the dryer back. [Fix Symptoms]:  It’s cracked or damaged; the dryer door won’t stay closed. Door will not close, door will not stay closed.
