It's theorized to be a natural cross of an annuum and chinense pepper. Pimenta de Neyde is the grandparent of some of the neatest pepper varieties out there. Pink Tiger, Yaki Blue, many owe their funky looks to Pimenta de Neyde heritage. Heat level is 100,000-200,000 scovilles and the flavor is earthy. Unlike others, we do not buy seeds from outside sources. Our plants are hand grown with tender loving care.
