SGT HART’S BARBEQUE SAUCE was born from a strong sense of love, bonding and family unity developed while serving our country in the US Army. Our travels consisted of both home and abroad, where we cultivated relationships with gatherings of good food, drink and quality time. Having run out of the traditional store-bought sauce during a large cookout was what inspired the infusion of several tried and true ingredients to create what we offer today. The Original Flavor of our barbeque sauce is a savory blend of quality flavors, herbs and other delicious ingredients. Original (also known as OG) the one that started it all! Known for its sweet and smoky flavor; the original sauce enhances and add another level of flavor to your food. The SGT Hart's brand is cold pressed and prepared in small batches; allowing you to get the full-bodied, robust, and concentrated sauce that is versatile enough to add flavor as a marinade as well as a finishing sauce! SGT R. Hart (Ret.) began making his famous recipe for his barbeque sauces in the late 90’s on a relaxing Sunday in Germany. He was tending to the grill while fellow Service Members their families were enjoying one another’s company at the gathering. Suddenly realizing that there wasn’t any store-bought sauce and all the stores are closed on Sunday’s the country; he began what is called “Soldiering up” and improvised; creating what is known today as SGT Hart’s BBQ Sauce. SGT Hart’s has two great flavors to offer: Our Sweet and Smoky Original and our mild Stealthy flavor of Chipotle, which offers a flavor that will sneak up to your palate from the back of the throat resonate throughout your mouth.
