Product Description "A hilariously cute send-up of the high school experience!" --- Anime Insider One?s a lonely number, two?s company and three?s a crowd? But this gang sucks at math and I lost count long ago! It?s uncharted territory with chapter three of School Rumble, as summer vacation heats things up beach-style! We?ve got new players, new crushes, new takes on old crushes? And nudity?!? (Not quite, but close! Real close!) Move over Ahab, Harima?s got you beat hands down? Though Tenma might not appreciate the comparison! It?s not like the girl would even notice? This volume is definitely worth the watch, containing both a comprehensive step-by-step mastering of "awkward situations" and its very own special after school special? And yes, curry! School Rumble ? The absolutely funniest show you?ll ever see that?s not about anything that rumbles? Ever! Amazon.com Life doesn't get any saner at Yagami High as the zany romantic comedy School Rumble continues--nor is it likely to. Tenma, who's still mad at Karasuma for saying he likes curry better than her, attracts the attention of mild-mannered Kentaro Nara. But Harima warns Nara that he'll pound him into mochi if he even looks at Tenma for too long. A summer outing to the beach sounds like fun for the gang initially. But lecherous Imadori makes a pass at Mikoto, and Harima manages to lose his trunks twice, upsetting rich, proper Eri. Amid these contretemps, Tenma decides that Harima is in love with someone else in the group, and volunteers to help him rehearse a speech declaring his love. Director Shinji Takamatsu manages to keep the characters appealing although they remain terminally clueless teenagers. When Harima starts to look like a complete loser, the filmmakers show him gently caring for an injured cat, impressing Tenma's saner younger sister Yakumo. Brendan Potter and Luci Christian offer winning performances as Harima and Tenma. (Rated TV PG: suitable for ages 12 and older: comic violence, risqué humor, brief nudity) --Charles Solomon
