Product Description While there is a decided lack of rumble in School Rumble, there's more hilarious humdingers than any single dinger can hum...Look that one up! And while there is a truck full of pigs, a giraffe, flying saucers, and crazy dream sequences, none of that's even close to what this show's about. (Though, I would probably watch that show too!) Here's what you need to know: Sophomore cutie Tenma is completely crushed on classmate Karasuma past the point of freakin' out. Tough guy Harima, with his own delinquent style of freak, has a long-standing crush on Tenma...and Karasuma? Can you say clueless? He's pretty much all about the curry. Mmm...curry! School Rumble- The absolutely funniest show you'll ever see that's not about anything that rumbles...ever!DVD Extras: Interview with the Creator (Jin Kobayashi) Textless Songs (Opening- Sentimental Generation, Closing- Futari wa Wasurechau) Trailers Amazon.com The freewheeling farce School Rumble Second Semester reaches its appropriately nutty finale as the holiday break which frees the cast from class assignments and allows them to concentrate on romantic disasters. Tenma manages to spend some time with Karasuma, who remains as oblivious as ever. Harima's manga story appears in "Zinegama" magazine, but the aspiring artist soon finds himself buried under staggering assignments. When he's not drawing, Harima crosses paths (and swords) with heiress Eiri: their misadventures include dancing in a two-person lion costume at the New Year's festival. But despite the chaos, the characters never become unsympathetic. Eiri is furious at Harima for the lion suit disaster, but he helps her find the courage to refuse to enter an arranged marriage. Although Harima generally ignores Tenma's sensible sister Yakumo, he gallops over on a giraffe to take care of her when she falls ill. The filmmakers pull out all the stops in a series of parodies. School lecher Imadori joins class shy girl Karem and her little brother in a send-up of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Episode #27 spoofs Sailor Moon and other Magical Girl series with "Magical Mai:" at one point, a boy looks at her kawaii (ultra-cute) costume and asks, "Aren't you kind of old to be dressing like that?" As the series concludes with the start of a new semester, there's a chance the antics may continue at Yagami High. The cast remains as hilariously clueless
