Scarlet Quince MAR008 Penelope by Charles-Francois Marchal Counted Cross Stitch Chart- Regular Size Symbols

A counted cross stitch pattern of Penelope, the wife of Odysseus, imagined as a woman of the artist's period (Victorian). She is wearing an elegant gray dress with a train, and standing beside a paneled wall. Her head is bent over the tapestry she is stitching. Red and yellow tapestry yarn and a picture in a turquoise frame on a small table are bright spots. We also offer a smaller detail of the painting, MAR008-D. (1868). This pattern is solidly stitched.
