Designed to provide single-function pressure-balance temperature control and is built for use with a Delta MultiChoice Universal valve body. This replacement cartridge is easy to install and stopping the leak saves water, energy, and money! Applicability: This RP46074 shower cartridge was designed for use with Delta MultiChoice Universal valve body and fits Delta OEM, Only fit for 13/14 Series, Delta rough-in R10000, R1100, R1800, R2200, etc. (Please note that it's Not Applicable for 1300/1400 series tub/shower!)  Please make sure your Delta shower rough-in style, and choose the correct cartridge. How to use: 1:shut off the water supply to the tub/shower. 2:remove the knob center cap. 3:unscrew and remove the knob. 4:slide off the outside sleeve. 5:remove the brass bonnet .try by hand first, or gently use channel-lock pliers. 6:remove the old cartridge. 7:feel for any deposits or debris inside pipe.clean as needed. 8:insert the new cartridge. 9:thread and tighten the brass bonnet. 10:if you remove the backing plate, clean the old caulk away and clean all parts. 11:slide the outer sleeve back on. 12:replace the backing plate and screw it in place. 13:replace the knob and screw in place. 14:replace the center cap.
