Night Time In Nevada (1948, B&W): Thug Ran Farrell kills his prospecting partner, Jim Andrews, and steals all the money that Andrews had placed in a trust fund for his infant daughter, Joan. Twenty years later, when grown-up Joan Andrews comes to Nevada to claim her inheritance, Farrell must find the funds to replenish the account or face prison. He figures that cattle rustling is the easiest way to make quick money. Unfortunately for him, the livestock he steals belong to former lawman, Roy Rogers. Grant Withers, who plays heartless villian Ran Farrell, was a hard working actor who appeared in almost 200 films and TV shows, most notably as Ike Clanton in John Ford's 1946 classic film about the gunfight at the OK Corral, My Darling Clementine. Starring Roy Rogers, Grant Withers, Andy Devine, Adele Mara, Bob Nolan; Directed by William Witney. Man From Cheyenne (1942, B&W): Roy Rogers is hired to investigate a rustling operation that is plaguing Wyoming cattlemen. Roy's pal, Gabby Whittaker, and another old friend, beautiful Marion Hardy, have teamed up with other ranchers to guard the herds. Their efforts are in vain because Hardy is secretly masterminding the cattle-thieving ring. When one of the ranch owners is murdered, Roy learns the shocking truth about the woman he thought he knew. Guest star Gale Storm went on to become a household name when she starred in two popular TV series - "My Little Margie" (1952-1956) and "The Gale Storm Show" (aka "Oh, Susannah!," 1956-1960). In addition to being a great comic actress, Gale was also an accomplished singer with a top-ten Billboard hit, "Dark Moon." Starring Roy Rogers, Gale Storm, George "Gabby" Hayes, Lynne Carver, James Seay; Directed by Joseph Kane.
