The Rope King DBP-316100 diamond braided poly rope measures 3/16" in diameter by 100' long with an SWL limit of 330 lb., and is suitable for use in boating, water skiing, wake boarding, camping, anchoring, docking, and ladder placement. It comes in assorted colors of yellow, white, and red. Specifications Diameter 3/16" (4.7 mm) Length 100'/30.5 m Safe Working Load (SWL) Limit 330 lb./149.6 kg Fibrous ropes used for pulling and lifting are made of natural and/or synthetic fiber strands. A combination of characteristics, including material, construction, diameter, length, and breaking strength, give each rope its performance capability. Fibrous rope materials are selected for properties such as strength, flotation, elasticity, and resistance to abrasion, ultraviolet light, and chemical compounds.  Diamond braided rope consists of eight, 12, 16, 24, 32, or 48 strands woven together in an over-and-under pattern, with or without a core. The type without a core is suitable for splicing. Diamond braided rope is generally stronger than solid braided rope, but not as strong as twisted rope or double braid. The breaking strength for fibrous rope is the strength at which new rope will fail under a stationary load. Breaking strength is not considered safe working load (SWL) limit. Rope King USA manufactures a variety of ropes for industrial, mechanical, marine, and household purposes. The company, founded in 2008, is headquartered in Solon, OH.
