This old map of Cape Hatteras & Roanoke Island (and the National Seashore area) is an excerpt I made from the 1:250,000 scale map titled "Wanchese" , made by the Army Map Service in 1955. I cropped the map to make the proportions fit a standard sheet when enlarged. The map shows the 1955 roads and topography. Also the ferry routes, water depths and the underwater soil such as "sand shells gravel". Original size 14" x 19". Available in different sizes. Printed in color on high quality bond paper with Canon ink.
