You can use these tubes by themselves, or in combination with our paper inserts (sold separately) Unlike these strong cardboard tubes, the paper inserts (packs sold separately) are also easy to unwind so you can inspect & store your precious bee babies. This helps to lessen damage to the bee larvae, which frequently happens in bee houses that use bamboo tubes for more than a single season.
