Our customers LOVE kickstart. This has converted many a cream-and-sugar coffee drinker (and even a few non-coffee drinkers) into black-coffee Kickstart diehards. This is also named in honor of one of our owners, Dan Burges, who lives in Fort Worth. Ricks Roasters started in 2014 when a Navy vet and his wife sketched out the company on a dinner napkin. When the original owners retired, a few West Point classmates (all Army combat veterans) picked up where they left off. Our mission is embodied in what we call the "four Cs”: Coffee - bring the best quality coffee from around the world to our customers; Customers (enriching your coffee experience with a wonderful and satisfying cup of coffee it paramount; Causes (whether it is a veteran organization, an animal shelter, or a sports team, all different causes need help. We partner with several organizations to continue our service in a different capacity.); Community (we are a family owned business and believe in supporting strong, vibrant, and diverse communities).
