Rafti Hayward SPX1082CA Pool Skimmer Basket Improved Replacement Handle

This extended replacement handle fits skimmer baskets for 1082 , 1083 , 1084 and 1085 model skimmers. Handle dimensions are for 6" inch inner diameter baskets that normally come with straight handles. Very easy to place onto and take off the basket and holds securely. These handles are 7 inches tall to make basket removal and cleaning much easier than a straight handle as the top of the handle sits above the water line and flips to the side out of the way when cleaning which keeps your hand clean, dry and out of filthy critter ridden skimmer water unlike the original handle, this also reduces the distance you have to stoop to retrieve the basket which makes everything that much easier. Made of solid surgical grade stainless steel rod, also known as SAE 316L stainless steel, which is the preferred steel for use in marine environments because of its greater resistance to corrosion than other grades of stainless steel. This handle is built to outlast the pool and as many baskets as you’ll go through in the life of the pool, which makes this one of the few parts that won’t wear out and need replacing.
