DODGEBALL CARD GAME SETUP: Shuffle the deck of cards and deal out 5 cards face down to each player. Put remaining cards in the middle to form a COMMUNITY PILE. Place the VIRUS and QUARANTINE CARDS in the middle. Everyone should be able to reach the VIRUS BALL. GAMEPLAY Each player should look at their own cards but not show them to others. Player to the right of the dealer goes first and follows these steps: 1. If you have: - ANY THREE MATCHING BASIC CARDS are worth points. Place them in front of you face up in your SCORE PILE. -VIRUS CARD Throw it in front of you and yell “Virus!” The player to your right and the player to your left will try to grab the VIRUS BALL first and throw it at each other. (If it’s a two player game, throw it at each other) The player who gets hit takes the Virus card and a QUARANTINE CARD and skips their next turn. If no one gets hit put the VIRUS CARD in the TOSS PILE. -VACCINE CARD If you draw this card, keep it hidden to the side. If you get hit by the VIRUS BALL it will protect you and you won’t have to collect the QUARANTINE CARD. The VACCINE CARD can only be used once. Once it’s used, place it in your score pile. 2. If you have less than 5 cards draw cards from the community pile to have 5 cards total. 3. If you draw any 3 matching BASIC CARDS or any SPECIAL CARDS again, repeat steps 1-2 until no 3 matching cards and no special cards remain in your hand. You should always have 5 cards. 4. Choose ONE unwanted card and put it in the TOSS PILE. You should have 4 cards now. 5. Take one card from the player to your left and add it to your own. Don’t take any actions until your next turn. (even if you now have matching cards or special cards) The player to your left goes next and draws one card from the COMMUNITY PILE and repeats steps 1-5. GAME ENDS when there’s no QUARANTINE CARDS left. WHO WINS? Player who collects the most points.
