While they cook quickly, these are definitely not your average quick grits or instant grits. Note for the traditionalist: we use a medium grind that produces an exceptionally smooth finished product; if you are looking for a slow-cooking, coarse, stone ground grit, these might not be for you. Gluten Free – Orange Corn is naturally gluten free, however, our grits are processed in a facility that also handles wheat. Versatile – The medium grind of our Orange Corn Grits makes them suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether you’re making a quick bowl of breakfast grits, or a pot of creamy Italian polenta for dinner, Professor Torbert’s makes a perfect side dish or main course for almost any occasion.
