Power1 is an innovative, fast-paced card game that works like a sparked up version of Rummy! This easy-to-learn game does not require scorekeeping, and game play is interactive and intuitive. To win, players need to either get rid of all of their cards or be the last one remaining in the game.
The objective of the game is to play new groups of three cards in front of you (melds) or find ways to overlay your cards on existing melds (lay off). Once a meld reaches its maximum capacity it is "complete" and is discarded. Make things even more interesting by completing the last meld of one of your opponents to eliminate them from the game!
Have a Joker? These color specific special cards can help complete melds much faster to eliminate opponents by blocking off a section of a meld. Once blocked, no other cards are allowed on top and the meld continues to operate with fewer sections-but beware of your opponent's calls of "POWER1" melds! Power1 melds consist of three Number 1 cards that force your opponents to draw two penalty cards each. For an added challenge, opponents can block the effect of a POWER1 move by throwing down a POWER1 Meld of their own and yelling "COUNTER-POWER1!"
