Our Aluminum Post Cap - square shaped, powder coated cap for the tops and bottoms of our aluminum posts. Used on aluminum railing systems by Stainless Cable & Railing Inc. PLEASE NOTE: When ordering fascia mount posts, a POST CAP and 2 self-tapping screws are included. The POST CAP is used in the following applications: STAIR HANDRAIL Attached to the top of each post when Post-To-Post Railing is used as a standalone top rail. FASCIA MOUNT POSTS Attaches to the bottom of each fascia mounted aluminum post. Please Note: When ordering fascia mount posts, the POST CAP is included. Installation Method Gently tap post cap into end of post. Use the two # 8 Phil Pan Head Tek screws (included with this order) to secure post cap. Technical Information: Material: 201 grade aluminum alloy. Finish: Baked on Powder-Coat finish which meets AAMA 2604 standards. Aluminum systems are not recommended as an exterior application within 10 miles of salt water. We recommend you check out our 316 marine grade stainless steel systems as they are more corrosion resistant. Please verify with local building codes.
