A versatile wood section designed for use in various crafting activities, pallet and crate construction, home improvement, furniture frame building, and utility projects. Recommended for projects to be painted. Easy to work with in all regards. Moderately rot resistant. No characteristic odor. Can be stained. Low density can sometimes leave fuzzy surfaces and edges when worked. Sanding may be necessary. Light cream to yellowish brown. Occasional streaks of gray or green. Typically straight, uniform grain, with a medium texture. Low natural luster. Usually free from knots Wood grain and color may vary from images. Requires sanding sealer coat prior to staining. Milled size, after smoothing, is 0.75" x 9.25".
