Pool Brand quick dissolving shock is a stabilized pool shock for use in all pool types. This product is not blended, so there are no fillers. Kills bacteria & keeps your pool water clear. 1 lb treats 10,000 gallon. Eliminates chlorine odors. When used as directed, this product is effective as a swimming pool water disinfecting agent (sanitizer). the dosage for your pool will change considerably depending upon those factors that burden the disinfection system. Some of the factors that will vary the required dosages are water temperature, bather load, exposure to debris, thunder or rain storms, & length of filtration cycle. Ensure all pool equipment is working properly. Adjust pH to between 7.2 & 7.6 add stabilizer to establish a minimum level of 30-40ppm. With pump running, broadcast 4 oz of this product per 10,000 gallon directly into the water. Do not allow undissolved product to rest in contact with a bleach-able pool surface. Regular use of a test kit is necessary to determine when it is necessary to add another dose of this product to maintain a residual of 1 - 3 ppm available chlorine in the pool water. An average daily dose of 2 - 3 osprey 10,000 gallon water. After use of this product it is recommended that a preventative algae treatment be added on a weekly basis. For Super chlorination, you should broadcast one lb of this product per 10,000 gallon directly to the water. Follow above procedural advice. Never add water to product. Never add more than 1 lb of this product to 3 gallon of cool water. Do not mix with other products if pre-dissolving.
