For best results, wait 24 hours and scuff prior to painting Weld Through - Strip coatings around the weld flanges - Apply the auto body seam sealer and brush to cover all bare metal - Align and use a shunt clamp to hold before starting to weld Bare Metal - Clean with a VOC-compliant cleaner and grind or scuff weld nuggets or locations - Re-clean to remove debris before applying the automotive panel bond adhesive compound - Pierce the seal, install the nozzle, then remove the metal seal and trim the nozzle - Apply the paintable seam sealer and tool it to achieve the desired finish - Allow 45 minutes for curing.
