Plaque of the Undead

Zombie Lake started in 2003 when Axeman Derek Schilling (of hatecore legends Neglect) wrote an email to a German Thrash Metal legends Protector tribute site and got reply from original vocalist Martin Missy. They became friends and talked about doing an international band with Derek living in New York and Martin living now in Sweden. Derek sent Martin 3 songs that were recorded with his friend Anthony Dalessio (dr) in 1999 and made the 'Metal for the Masses" demo 2005. After spreading these around the underground, Iron Shield Records showed interest in releasing a CD & LP. Zombie Lake agreed and Derek Recuited Anthony once again on drums, and friend Ryan (from Death/Doom bands Unearthly Trance/Serpentine Path) to do the leads. The music was recorded in New York, and the vocals were recorded in Sweden by Tomas Skogsberg. After many delays in life (...also Hurricane Sandy) the debut Zombie Lake CD/ LP (with Poster) "Plague of the Undead" is being released to the underground thrash legions. Zombie Lake is raw, old school Thrash Metal!
