The Chinese Money Plant is a great plant for the beginner. It is easy to grow and propagate and thereby share with your friends. It is also often referred to as the Sharing Plant or Pancake Plan. It features bright green, round, shiny leaves. It looks especially attractive against white walls, making it an ideal houseplant for those with a minimalist design aesthetic. It's also non-toxic to pets! Grow the Chinese Money Plant wherever it will receive bright but indirect light. It should be watered regularly and kept out of the direct sun. Rotate at least a couple of times a week to keep it from growing in a lopsided manner. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. It does not appreciate soggy soil! Water the plant when the leaves start to look a bit droopy. It will need to be watered even more in warmer conditions. You can use a general liquid houseplant fertilizer at half strength. Apply it twice during the spring and summer. This plant is especially well suited in the creation of a miniature garden or fairy garden.
