Pietersite is a variant of tiger eye in a rich earthy rust-gold-brown. It looks like a combination of tiger's eye, poppy jasper and quartz. Individual stones may lean more to one shade or the other. Briolettes are a faceted flat wide 13x14mm teardrop which hangs from a matching 4mm Austrian Swarowski crystal. The earrings are 1-3/8" (35mm) long from the top of the non-pierced finding.
