Shurtape A&E P-665 Gaffers Tape is a high strength general purpose cloth gaffers tape that effectively combines economy with performance. Sometimes referred to as the "industry-standard" gaffer's tape. Shurtape P-665 features a quality matte surface backing and a positive-seal adhesive which makes for a truly "full value" general-purpose tape. This gaffers tape is typically used to hold wiring, lighting, and props. Also ideally suited for a wide range of sealing, splicing, holding, color coding, and decorative applications. P665 used to be manufactured by Permacel but is now being made by Shurtape. It has been the Entertainment industry-standard Gaffer tape for decades. P665 non-standard colors were discontinued (only black, white & grey remain) so please see Pro Tapes Pro-Gaff, which is also made by Shurtape, for a gaffer tape with similar specifications. Made in the U.S. If not otherwise specified widths shown in dropdown are in inches. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 24mm x 50m. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user's responsibility to determine that the product is suitable for their intended use; e.g. if you want to remove a product cleanly from a specific type of substrate please test on an inconspicuous area first.
