Peperomia caperata 'Rosso'

Peperomia caperata 'Rosso' (also known as Emerald Ripple) is a beautiful variety with dark green, pointed leaves that are deeply rippled. The underside of the leaves are red in color and are quite striking. This cute plant can reach sizes of 9”-12” and grows in a nice, round clump. It prefers moderate light but no direct sun. Keep soil moist and allow the top 1" of soil to dry between waterings. Use a quick draining soil as the roots prefer to have some air circulation. Vivariums/Animal Terrariums: Does well in a vivarium and can thrive in a humid environment. Plant toward the middle or back as it can reach a height of up to 12". Not recommended for vivs with larger animals as the stems are brittle and will snap easily. Plant in a location where the roots will not be sitting in standing water.
