Jackie Robinson was a pioneer who changed the course of social history in America in the 20th Century by integrating baseball. He was a cornerstone and foundation of the civil rights movement that followed. Jackie could not have done this without the friendship and help of his teammate, the great Brooklyn Dodger captain, Pee Wee Reese. This film features segments on both these immortal Hall of Famers, who were not only great and beloved ball players, but great men as well.
