This aluminum coolant fitting is designed and manufactured to precise tolerances to fit the original application but with notable improvements in function.
This product is made from high strength aerospace aluminum, Grade 6061 T6511.
This product was designed to maximize the resistance to breakage.
The coolant flow path through the center of the fitting is optimized to maximize coolant flow.
There are no sharp corners on this fitting so that the coolant will not be disrupted as it passes through.
This hose runs from the coolant thermostat housing to the front of the head.
Simply remove the end of the hose from the plastic fitting and then the fitting from the head (hose does not need to be removed from the thermostat housing to do this);Then install the replacement aluminum fitting to the head and slide the hose and hose clamp over the fitting.
