Park Seed Park's Black Peony Poppy Seeds

Indescribably elegant, the blooms on this new Peony-flowered Poppy are just incredible in a large garden planting or indoor arrangement! Fully 4 to 5 inches across, they are jam-packed with ruffled, whorled petals of deepest maroon, so dark that they appear black! Blooming begins in July, and is followed by handsome seedpods that are superb ornaments in dried arrangements. The plants reach 4 feet tall and spread 12 inches wide.This Poppy is extremely easy to grow. For early summer show, sow direct either in late fall, winter, or even early spring!
