In 1960, Alex “Pappy” Papulias started Pappy Meat Company in Fresno California as a wholesale meat company for the San Joaquin Valley. Pappy and Marie’s youngest son, Eddie, while attending college, decided the company should change direction focusing on specialty seasonings and sauces. Pappy's Fine Foods, Inc. launched its first product as Pappy’s Choice Seasoning in 1985 and since then, the company has flourished - now with over 25 different products being manufactured in a new state-of-the-art packaging plant.
