The Danish artist made his breakthrough with a poster for the Danish State Railways in the late 1930's and he was well respected when he was contracted to do a Maersk Line poster in 1948. 'Carriers on all the Seas' was the Maersk Line catch phrase at the time and Aage Rasmussen made point of that by showing The Seven Seas as an effective background to OLGA MÆRSK, a new and modern cargo liner in the Maersk Fleet
