In the year 2015, the world comes to an end due to a deadly man-made virus. It is at this time that vampires emerge from the depths of the earth and subjugate all of humanity by taking them beneath the surface to be their food.Yuichiro and Mikaela, two 12-year-olds, manage to escape, but Mikaela is caught and sacrifices herself for her friend. After being saved, Yuichiro joins the members of the Demon Moon Company, an extermination unit of the Imperial Japanese Army, to seek revenge and destroy the vampires.
