Wall Rock Cress (Arabis biepharophylla Red Sensation) - A massive amount of red, fragrant flowers and attractive foliage make this a wonderful ground cover plant that is also drought tolerant. Perfect for cascading over stones or as edging near the front of the garden or even in a large container. Sheer after blooming to encourage new growth and a tidy appearance. Depending on your climate it will bloom mid Spring to early Summer. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid these plants and do not find them edible. A very bright form of Wall Rock Cress, nice for Spring display in the rock garden or an alpine trough. This forms a low rosette of green leaves with taller stems coming from the centre that hold clusters of sweetly fragrant, red flowers months. Drought tolerant once established. Requires excellent drainage, particularly in the winter months. Evergreen. This variety is thought to be longer lived and easier to grow that other forms of arabis.
