Outsidepride Nierembergia Purple Robe - 5000 Seeds

Nierembergia hippomanica is commonly known as Cupflower. This variety, Purple Robe, makes a great ground cover with lovely blooms of violet blue. It has a mounding habit and fern-like foliage that is vigorous and freely flowers all summer long. It’s perfect for edging the front of the border or grow it in containers too. Nierembergia is a tender perennial but can be grown as an annual in colder zones. It’s long-blooming and easy-to-care-for! Sow the seed indoors in early spring or directly outdoors in a prepared seedbed after danger of frost has passed. Press the seed into the soil and cover lightly with peat moss. Keep seed slightly moist but not saturated. With a temperature of 70 - 75F, germination normally occurs within 30 days. Space the plants 6 - 9 inches apart. Grow in full sun and in well-drained soil.
