Callistephus make a wonderful container plant, or plant them in the front of the flower border. They perform well in full sun or partial shade. They are heat resistant and carefree with a bloom season lasting all summer and up until the first frosts of fall. Start this Aster seed mix indoors in early spring for transplanting outside after frost danger has passed. Press the seed into the soil and cover thinly.
