This is the first Oriole Feeder ever to accommodate nectar, one-half orange and four troughs for grape jelly. It has been known for years, that the color orange attracts Orioles. They are also attracted to nectar, oranges and jelly. This Bird Feeder will also attract hummingbirds. When Oriole season is over, remove the cover and use the clear base to dispense other bird foods like seed and meal worms. We have Included a starter pack of Oriole Nectar NP1003 - 100% Sucrose a food source for hummingbirds and orioles! This package makes 4 cups of hummingbird nectar or 6 cups of oriole nectar. This pure and nutritious nectar simulates the natural nectar found in flowers and will keep your favorite birds in your yard. Better for them than a regular table sugar mixture. Note: Never add food coloring to nectar. Can be used for both hummingbirds and orioles. How to attract Orioles: When it is time for these beautiful birds to arrive in your area, it is important to put feeders up because they are starved! It is best to have a feeder filled and ready for them prior to arrival. Birds migrate at night, and when they arrive they are cold, tired and hungry. The first thing on their mind is to locate a food source and usually early in spring, the insects are not yet abundant. If you are ready for them, it will make attracting and keeping them around all summer much easier. Make sure to place the feeders where you can enjoy watching these colorful birds from your house. Most importantly, keep the Oriole Feeders full and fresh! If you ever need any advice please feel free to reach out to us at Nauturesroom. Our staff has years of experience in the Birding Industry and would be happy to assist you in anyway. ...Over the course of our success, we have tried to keep the most important facets of our mission statement, "To protect and aid nature and the environment in a positive way"
