Henna powder also known as Heena powder, lawsonia inermis or mehandi is world famous for its freshness and highest lawson (colouring) content. DIRECTIONS TO COLOR HAIR/BEARD INTO LIGHT BROWN; DARK BROWN; OR BLACK: INDIGO and HENNA powders are used together to obtain these colors. MAKE PASTE FROM POWDER: HENNA PASTE: Mix at least 2.5 (up to 15) hours before application. INDIGO POWDER: Mix just 5 to 10 minutes before applying to hair. Measure powder into a bowl. Add water while stirring until a paste like consistency is achieved. TWO STEP METHOD: Recommended for first time use to cover grey or white hair. Ready the paste. Apply Henna paste to clean hair Covering the entire length and roots. Cover with plastic wrap. Wait 90 minutes. Rinse; do not shampoo. This gives an Orange / Red base to hair. Next apply Indigo paste and wrap hair in a shower cap or plastic wrap. Do this in 0 to 24 hours after Henna application. Wait as suggested below. BLACK 120 minutes DARK BROWN 60 minutes LIGHT BROWN 30 minutes Rinse Do not shampoo for 48 hours INDIGO PRODUCT LABEL HAS FULL DIRECTIONS ONE STEP METHOD: Ready the paste as in MAKE PASTE FROM POWDER. Combine in a third bowl for desired color as follows: BLACK: 1 Part Henna; 3 Parts Indigo DARK BROWN: 1 Part Henna; 2 Parts Indigo LIGHT BROWN: 1 Part Henna; 1 Part Indigo Apply Indigo paste to clean hair, Covering entire length and roots. Cover with plastic wrap. Wait 90 minutes. Rinse Do not shampoo for 24 hours. Ideally use Two Step method the first time SHORT HAIR: 50 to 70 grams SHOULDER LENGTH: 90 to 120grams
