Generally grown as a transplant, the Seedz Waltham 29 Broccoli can be directly sown in the summer for fall crops. WHEN TO PLANT For best results, start transplants 4-6 weeks before planting date and plant outside after threat of frost has passed. GROW PATTERNS AND TIMING Sow 3 seeds per foot with about 18" between rows. Waltham 29 Broccoli can be expected to germinate within 5-10 days. Plan 80-85 days to full maturity. After center dome has been cut, smaller side shoots can be harvested for extended production.
