Oowee® Inc uses domestically sourced leather from the lace and boot industry. During the tanning process, the leather is treated to resist moisture and mildew, making it ideal for beverage sleeves. The medium brown leather is typically 5/7 oz. weight (about 1/8 inch). Each sleeve has its own special markings and color. For any product that requires additional metal hardware we use either solid brass or stainless steel hardware (rivets, buckles or rings). Oowee sleeves are constructed with an elastic lace-cord to give them just enough stretch to fit securely around your glass. Not only is our double "X" stitching pattern strong, but it also acts as a hinge, allowing our products to fold flat for convenient transportation and storage. All products manufactured by Oowee Inc will be branded with the Oowee trademark tag. Oowee Products places a trademark tag on every product we make. This is to protect our brand and patented product designs. Some of the tags also indicate which container the sleeves is made for, like the patented pint, long neck bottles or the cans and stubby bottles.
