April 30, 2005 By Daly Mavorneen Format:DVD These television morality tales of poltergeists, teletransportation and audio hauntings remind me very much of the best mystery-radio shows like "Lights Out" and "The Weird Circle." All 3 episodes are very watchable, with characters a little more complex than the better-known "Twilight Zone" offered. The best one, "The Affair," takes place in England and concerns a doomed wedding chilled by the spector of WWII, madness and murder. Good, old-fashioned ghost stories the entire family can enjoy. "Anniversary of a Murder" is the second-best entry, marked by unexpectedly terrific acting. The last episode, "The Aerialist" is slightly marred by Mike Connors (of "Mannix" fame) hamming it up as a tortured circus performer, but the script delivers a a potent melancholy.
