Oman Elecampane Root Inula Helenium - Radix Inulae - Health Embassy - 100 Natural 100g

Oman Root is native to Europe and Asia and naturalized in parts of North America. It is also known as elecampane, horse-heal or elfdock. It was sacred to the ancient Celts, and once had the name 'elfwort'. It has also been known to be candied and eaten as a sweetmeat. To make a decoction, boil 1 tsp of Oman Root in 200 ml of water for 2-3 minutes and then left to steep for 15 to 30 minutes, then strain and drink. To prepare a cold infusion, take 2 tsp of Oman Root, soaked in 250 ml of cold water and left overnight. In the morning heat it (not boil) and strain. Drink it as a warm tea.
