Ojai Habanero Apricot Jam is not too hot. Made with ripe California apricots blended with Habanero peppers. Decadent on cheesecake, or over ice cream. Remarkable on bagels or waffles. My pepper jelly roll is a perfect gift or use a jar in a customized gift basket. Made in small batches in California. About Suze (Patrona, Jelly-Slinger): I’ve always loved to cook! Raised in California, I always had a big vegetable garden & great fruit trees, so there was always something to experiment with! Road trips were a family favorite, and we’d often head south of the border into Mexico for our adventures. We’d spend time with Mexican families that taught Mom & I to crochet & cook traditional recipes. My Dad & brother would often fish & hunt. I was fascinated with the assorted colorful, hot peppers of Mexico. I wanted to find a way to enjoy peppers & not burn up in the process, so I started experimenting with peppers in breads, sauces, jellies & jams. In the eighties my Jalapeño Jelly won a blue ribbon at the State Fair. A few decades later, ABC featured my recipe for a Turkey Sandwich with Jalapeño Jelly as the THE BEST SANDWICH IN THE NATION! Now a self proclaimed Jelly Slinger, I love concocting flavorful cocktails with Ojai Jelly & Jam.
