Made with young organically grown leaves from a JAS certified organic plantation located at 400-600m above sea level (some of the highest in Japan) in the natural surroundings of the Southern Alps in Shizuoka, Japan. Cool temperatures in the mountain areas slows leaf growth and concentrates aroma in the leaf Small batches are shipped from the manufacturer weekly to ensure long shelf-life. This tea has also been vacuum-sealed immediately after being processed to seal in the freshness.
