Fukamushi tea is rich and full-bodied, with a crisp and clean taste and aroma. An intense taste tea with a green color and distinctive fine-floating tea particles, Fukamushicha means deep-steamed tea in Japanese, and the extra steaming involved in the manufacture of this Japanese tea breaks down the structure of the sencha green tea leaf, releasing valuable nutrients into the brew.
Brew the perfect cup of Fukamushi sencha green tea hot or coldTemperature, amount of leaf, type of water and steep time are important factors you need to get right to make the perfect cup of hot Fukamushicha Japanese green tea. We recommend: Tea: 4g (0.14 oz. = 1 heaped tsp.), Water: 1 cup (200ml), Temperature: (75 - 85°C), Steep Time: 30 - 40 seconds. Fukamushi sencha Japanese tea can also be brewed cold. Add 6-7g of loose leaf green tea to a glass pitcher and fill up with 500-1000ml water. Refrigerate for 6-8 hours, strain the leaves then drink or store in the fridge for later.
