Product Description OATEY wire solder, acid core, OATEY, 0.081 in diameter, composition: 40% tin, 60% lead, solid, 361 - 460 deg F melting, Carded packing, 0.5 lb. Container, 9 - 11.5 specific gravity, Silver Gray, applicable materials: copper and tin, for repairing galvanized gutters, filling metal seams and other general repairs. Solder acid core 40/60 - general purpose solder for sheet metal work, auto repair and steel gutters. 40/60 solders are 40% tin-60% lead. 50/50 solder is 50% tin, 50% lead. Contains lead, cannot be used on drinking water lines. Acid flux is contained in the wire core; no external flux is needed. Not for use in electrical applications. Melting range 360deg. -460deg.F.
