Fabric bundle of 42 5-inch squares from the Oak Grove Lane collection by designer Kathy Schmitz for Moda Fabrics. When the leaves begin their colorful transformation to crimson, gold, and orange, I feel a great sense of peace. When I was growing up, these changes marked a new school year and I loved going back to school. There was nothing like a new pack of crayons, new fancy shoes and seeing old friends. Right around the corner would be Halloween and Thanksgiving, a time to gather the family together, be thankful, and eat way too much candy. This fabric line brought back a lot of cozy childhood memories for me and I wanted to include the little things I still find fascinating, like acorns, squirrels, and using the warm colors of the fall.
